Romanian P-37 - This is a model of a Polish-built medium bomber that participated in the 1941 invasion of the Soviet Union. They were former Polish planes confiscated after their pilots had sought refuge in Romania from the German and Soviet invasion of Poland in 1939. The PZL P-37 entered service in the Polish air force in 1938. It was their most modern war plane at the outbreak of WWII, but too few were produced. |
