Dutch D.21 - This is a model of a Dutch designed and Dutch built fighter that flew against the German invasion of May 1940. The D.21 was the Dutch air force's primary fighter during this conflict. The Danes purchased two D.21s from the Dutch and then built 10 more under license. Danish D.21s had cannons mounted under their wings. They were all destroyed by strafing German aircraft during the 1940 invasion. |
