Romanian MB 210 - This is a model of a French-built heavy bomber that participated in the 1941invasion of the Soviet Union. They were obtained from France before Romania joined the Axis in late 1940. French MB 210s of the Armée de l'Air flew against the German and Italian invasions of France in 1940. The MB 210 first saw combat in Spain in 1936, as the Republicans had obtained some from France. The MB 210 was the successor to the MB 200, which had wings mounted at the top of the fuselage, while the more modern MB 210's wings were mounted at the bottom of the fuselage. |
